Sheep Mountain Lodge is the race start.
The start is 115 miles NE of Anchorage, Alaska, at mile 113.5 on the Glenn Highway.
The 50-miler is out and back from Sheep Mountain Lodge.
The 100-miler is out and back from Sheep Mountain Lodge.
The 400-miler is out and back from Sheep Mountain Lodge.
The 200-miler is one-way to Valdez, Alaska, on the coast.

Glenn Highway mile markers from Start at 113.5 to Glennallen at 189.0, 75.5 miles into race.
Richardson Highway mile markers from Glennallen at 115.0, then decreasing into Valdez.
The Fireweed 200 Finish and the 400 Turnaround are 3.4 miles inside the Valdez city limits.
Pull off the road enough so that your open car door does not force racers into traffic!
